WNW: Knock on Wood

Hey lovelies,

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Every weekend, I spend my days at the horse ranch.  I love it there!!  Anywho,  the other day I decided to try out another WNW product.  This time I used the Knock on Wood trio palette.  I work in a law firm and my makeup is usually very simple and natural looking so I knew this palette would be great for the office environment.

Again, WNW eyeshadow palette does not disappoint.  These shadows are so soft, pigmented, easy to blend, and long-lasting.  The eyelid color is such a pretty cranberry shadow, the crease color is a chocolate brown color and the browbone color is a light pinkish color.  Overall, very warm colors for everyday wear.

Swatches top to bottom: Browbone color, Crease color, Eyelid color

And here is a simple look I did using this palette.

I used the browbone color right above my crease to blend out any harsh lines.

I am very happy with these eyeshadow palettes and check out my blog for more looks using them.

Wet N Wild - Comfort Zone

One of the items Jess sent me was the Wet-N-Wild Comfort Zone (738) palette.  I don't own any of these and never tried them but I've heard really great reviews on them so I was super excited to try this baby out myself.  And let me just say, it was love at first sight.

Details on the back of the package:
"A stunning collection of 8 silky, ultra-pigmented day-to-night colors.  Mix-and-match for a variety of looks from sweet to wild!  All day crease-resistant color!"

The description says it all!  These shadows are very pigmented, so easy to blend and long-lasting.  They are definitely great for every day wear.  I like how the shadows are labeled with "Browbone, Eyelid, Crease and Definer."  Also, the price for the palettes is super affordable.  I think they range from $4-$6 each and can be purchased at any drugstore such as CVS, Walgreens or Target.

A simple look I did today using the first section of the palette.

I love this palette and I can't wait to create more looks with this palette.  I'm definitely going to be purchasing all of them!  If you haven't tried these out yet, I recommend you do.  :)

The Niners lost against the NY Giants but I'm proud of them for making it this far. 49er Faithful baby!

On to the lips:

Are you blushing??

It's been MONTHS since I've last posted something on here. I thought I'd start up again and share with you all my current favorite blush...

elf Blush in Candid Coral

ELF

I love this blush and for only $3... I love it even more!!
It reminds me a little of NARS Orgasm and MAC's Spaced Out (Neo Sci-Fi collection).

In my opinion, it's a great shade for any skin tone.

What is your current favorite blush?

A Dash of Purple Dressing

So I finally decided to put some color on my eye lids. I've been doing the "no-makeup face" for awhile because I work out during lunch hour and hate it when my makeup is smearing down my face and dripping onto my neck. *gross but true*

I snapped a pic using my iPhone4 but it doesn't give the eye shadows any justice on their true colors.

Here's what I used:

MAC Jest on the inner corner
MAC Sketch on the lid and lower lashline
MAC Plum Dressing on the crease
MAC Vanilla as highlight
