KAT VON D Palette Review

I just purchased the Kat Von D palette in Beethoven and I must say that I am very impressed. I've been eyeing this palette for awhile now because the colors are to die for.  Check out some pix and swatches.

This is how the palette looks like.  Sleek and sexy.  Kinda reminds me of NARS cover palette's except without the design.

It has a mirror, 8 different eyeshadows, and 2 small brushes.  The brushes are made like the lip brushes instead of the regular sponge shadow brushes.  I don't think I'll use the brushes to apply the eyeshadows.

Here are the swatches in order with NYX Yogurt jumbo eyeshadow pencil as base....

Left to right:
Lucifer (matte black), Speed Blue (dark blue with minimal shimmer), Razor Grey (dark grey with a bit of shimmer), Tequila (creamish, whitish color), Sinner (matte plumish, brownish), Rad Purple (dark purple with magenta glitter), Leather (matte brown), and Galeano (sparkly pearl, pinkish).

Pros:
Colors are really pigmented
Last long and do not fade
The case is so sleek and durable
Palette is great for travel
Love the mirror on it
Shadows can be used for smokey eyes, soft looks, or bright looks.
Price $38 for 8 eyeshadows!!!!

Cons:
The mini brushes it comes with.

Overall, this palette is a great addition to your makeup collection.  I mean, who can get enough of makeup anyways!?!  LOL.  I will be doing a few looks with this palettes so keep a look out.
