Review: Milani Minerals Compact Powder

After searching and searching for an affordable compact powder, I think I found the one!
MILANI MINERALS COMPACT POWDER

I have been using MAC Studio Fix powder for the longest but I wanted to try a drugstore brand that would hopefully give me the same results.  After a fellow blogger, Celly, tweeted about an unadvertised Milani sale at CVS, I got my butt over there and purchased a bunch of Milani products for less than $3 each!  Unfortunately, a lot of products were gone but I was able to get my hands on some goodies.

On to the review...

Product Details
According to the website (www.milanicosmetics.com), the Minerals Compact Powder is an extraordinary, talc-free mineral based powder that perfects and corrects skin.  A MicroSheen puff deposits the perfect dose of product, delivering flawless, buildable coverage.

My Thoughts
I've been using this powder for over a month now and I absolutely love it! At first, I was applying this product with a brush and I noticed that there was a lot of fall out and was a bit messy.  Then I started using it with the powder puff that is included and O.M.G... the results were amazing!  It provides me with great coverage, covering up my blemishes and minimizing the appearance of my pores.  This doesn't make me look cakey or powdery and provides similar results as my MAC Studio Fix powder.  I have oily skin and when applied, my skin absorbs the minerals and looks matte, which is great for my oily's!  It also lasts for 8 hours without me having to re-apply.  With my Studio Fix, I reapplied it at least twice through-out the day (before heading out to lunch and before leaving work) but with this one I don't even re-apply, unless I feel I need to.  This is definitely a product I will be repurchasing.

Lucky you! I've been looking for a new powder to try since the warmer weather is coming up. I totally missed that sale at CVS. Hopefully this isn't discontinued.

@KrySTYLES I don't believe it's discontinued. At least I hope not! Check out your local CVS and hopefully they have it on sale.
