Skin Issues...Help!!!

For the past 4 months, I have been suffering from acne on my checks and I have gotten to the point where I feel embarrassed of being out in public.  I mean, WTF is going on!?!  I never had acne until now and it's only on my cheeks.  UUURRRRGGGH!!!  I'm so bummed out guys.  I've tried PROACTIVE and it burned and irritated my skin.  It did reduce the pimple size but the scar was still there.  I went to the extent of getting a facial every 3 weeks but I felt I was spending all this money and it wasn't working for me.  I've used Masks, Exfoliators, Acne creams...aaaahhh.  I just don't know what to do! I'm currently using Nuetrogena's Acne Face Wash and it has seriously dried out my skin around my checks and chin area.  I've also been exfoliating 3 times a week with ST.IVES Apricot Scrub and I love that stuff because it makes my skin feel soooo soft and clean.  Now I'm dealing with acne, dry patches on my checks and chin, and some little bumps all around my forehead and chin.  When I apply foundation it only looks worse!!

Someone please help!!! LOL.  Any products you would recommend for me to try?  Any miracle workers? LOL.

Looking foward to reading some skincare tips....

Tootles!!!

oh my god girl; I'm the same way. I normally have very oily acne prone skin, when using acne products to dry my pimples (they really dry them up) which is fantastic but I'm left with flakiness from over drying so when i apply powder i look oily on some parts, and extremely try and makeup makes my dry spot looks flaky and ugh. So i bought the cetaphil moisturizing lotion and its working great for those dry spot but i apply just a small amount on those areas becuase it can also may u look oily. Ayy, skin skin skin so stressful right?

Naty1129, yes I totally agree! I was using that Nuetrogena Acne Wash but that causes severe drying of my skin and flakiness. UGGH!! I'm going to try the Cetaphil cleanser and lotion for those dry flaky areas because my forehead, nose, and cheeks get super oily...oil control lotion and oil blotting sheets is a must for us!!! LOL.
